به انگلیسی : Masturbation
در زبان عامیانه به خودارضایی ، جلق زدن و استمناء نیز گفته می شود. اگر بخواهیم چند تعریف ِ متداول در مورد خودارضایی ارائه کنیم می توان به موارد زیر اشاره کرد :
- تماس آگاهانه ی شخص با اندام های جنسی خویش با هدف ِ افزایش برانگیختگی جنسی و کسب ِ لذت را خودارضایی می گویند.[1]
- خودارضایی عبارت است از تحریک جنسی به ویژه تحریک ِ اندام های جنسی خویشتن که اغلب به ارگاسم منتهی می شود.[2] [3]
